Battery station estimator
Portable Power Station Runtime Calculator
Choose the devices you want to run, enter the power station size, and get a plain-English runtime estimate.

Fine-tune the estimate
This is the watt-hour rating printed on the power station.
Add any device not selected above.
85% is a reasonable planning estimate for many AC inverter uses.
Method
How this calculator estimates it
Runtime hours = usable watt-hours Γ· total watts. Selected device watts are added together.
Avoid this
Common mistakes
- Comparing power stations only by peak watts instead of usable watt-hours.
- Forgetting inverter losses.
- Assuming solar panels will produce their rated output all day.
Before you choose
- If a device has a compressor or motor, check whether the power station can handle startup surge.
- For overnight or medical-adjacent uses, leave a large reserve instead of planning to drain the battery fully.
- Solar recharge can be much slower than the panelβs rated output in cloudy weather or poor sun angle.
